Dr. Omar Abou Hamdan

Dr. Omar Abou Hamdan is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resources and Leadership at Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, leading the Doctoral Programme of Coaching and Mentoring. He boasts a diverse and wide-ranging educational and professional background, holding a PhD in Management and Leadership from the University of Huddersfield, UK, an MBA from the Lebanese American University, and a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences from the American University of Beirut.

Dr. Omar Abou Hamdan’s globally recognized research explores the impact of discourse on group phenomena, such as leadership and learning, as well as social categories and identities, particularly in the realms of politics and culture. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and a certified FA Futsal Coach. He has a broad teaching portfolio that spans HR, Strategic Management, Leadership, Research Methods, and Business Simulation at the postgraduate level.
