Prof. Faiza Abbas joined the School of Business Administration at Penn State in Spring2017. She earned her postgraduate degree in Labor/Employment Relations, and Human Resource Management from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Before joining Penn State Harrisburg, she taught at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations for several years. She also worked with the Eagleton Institute of Politics in their Program on Immigration and Democracy, researching immigrant-led business organizations and their impact on society. Her areas of interest include Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, Employee Relations, and Business Ethics among others. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed Management and Social Sciences journals. She is currently the co-advisor for the SHRM student chapter at Penn State Harrisburg, and outreach coordinator for the School of Business. She also has the honor of being inducted in Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international business honor society for AACSB accredited schools.
