When and where will the 2023 GOV HR and GOV Youth Empowerment Summit take place?
Are we required to stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Residences Emirates Pearl if we come to Abu Dhabi for
the event?

The Award Ceremony takes place between 13:30 – 14:30 and is followed by a networking lunch from 14:30-
15:30 P.M.

Q: When and where will the 2023 GOV HR and GOV Youth Empowerment Summit take place?
A: The 2023 GOV HR and GOV Youth Empowerment Summit and Awards will take place at the Grand Hyatt
Hotel and Residences Emirates Pearl in the Al Bateen Ballroom located on B1 floor of the hotel.

Q: Are we required to stay at the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel Residences and Emirates Pearl if we come to
Abu Dhabi for the event?
A: No, you are not required to stay at this hotel.

Q: How much will it cost to attend the 2023 GOV HR and GOV Youth Empowerment Summit and Awards?

Q: How may we purchase tickets for the event?
A: The GOV HR and GOV Youth Summit and Award winners may purchase tickets for the 11 October awards
gala by first logging into their Dates & Fees on the GOV HR Summit website. If necessary we can place an
offline ticket order for you – email us at zara@govhr-summit.com about that.

Q: Who may attend the GOV HR and GOV Youth Summit and Award?
A: Any individual or organization working in the public sector in the GCC region may purchase tickets, but
typically only the GOV HR and GOV Youth Summit and Award and the team who have registered may attend.

Q: Are the GOV HR and GOV Youth Summit and Award winners required to attend the event?
A: No, the GOV HR and GOV Youth Summit and Award winners are not required to attend the 23 October awards gala in Abu Dhabi. Winners who cannot attend will be shipped their awards after the event.

Q: What is the attire for the banquet?
A: The requested attire is national, formal business suit. But please do wear whatever is considered formal
attire in your culture.

Q: Are tickets required for the banquet?
A: Yes, all attendees must have registered for admittance.

Q: How will we receive our purchased tickets?
A: All tickets will be held for pickup from the registration desk from 8:30 AM the day of the event, from the
registration desk in the hotel ballroom’s pre-function area. Tickets are in the form of registered badges with the
delegates names and company details.

Q: In what order will organizations be called to the stage?
A: Organizations will be called to the stage in the order in which the awards are presented, with the individual
awards followed by the organisational award.

Q: How will winners be called to the stage to accept their awards?
A: Each organization in attendance will be called to the stage by their name and the name of the person
receiving the award with a beautiful backdrop showcasing the winners.

Q: Who will present our awards to us on stage?
A: The well-known, TV presenter and personal coach, Hanane Spiers will present awards on stage to winners.

Q: Will we be able to make an acceptance speech after accepting our awards?
A: No. Each organization will have received the award on stage and no acceptance speech will be made. You
can give us a video testimonial post the awards.

Q: Will the awards presentations be broadcast?
A: Yes, the presentations will be recorded, and the video will be shared with the attendees. No LIVE broadcast
of the event.

Q: Will there be still photographers at the 11 October event?
A: We will have two still photographers at the event. They will take candid photos during the pre-lunch reception. One photographer will photograph all on-stage awards presentations. The other photographer will work on the red-carpet area all evening, photographing the GOV HR and GOV Youth Summit and Award winners with their awards.

Q: When and how will photographs of the event will be made available?
A: By 19 October the photographs will be uploaded to the QnA International Flickr page. The photographs will be freely available and may be used however you’d like. When available you’ll find a link to the photographs HERE

Q: Will the awards presentations be videotaped?
A: One videographer will record all on-stage awards presentations.

Q: What should we do if our organization cannot attend the 11 October awards gala?
A: If your organization cannot attend the event to accept your awards, please let us know that by emailing zara@govhr-summit.com In your email, please confirm the address to which your awards should be shipped. Your awards will be shipped to you after the event.

Q: If our organization cannot attend the event to accept our awards, will there be a cost to receive our awards?
A: Yes. Per the terms and conditions of entry to the 2023 GOV HR and GOV Youth Awards, which you agreed to abide by when you submitted entries, the winners who are not represented at the 23 October awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi to accept their award(s) will be assessed a shipping fee for their award(s). Only sponsors and honorary nominees will not have to pay shipping fees.

We accept Credit Card and Bank Transfer Payments. If you wish to change your payment method after you have submitted your entries, please write a quick note to awards@govhr-summit.com with our Awards Experts for more information.

The entry fee is charged per individual entry, i.e. one piece of work entered in a single category. You can find all fees on our Dates & Fees page.

After submission, each entry is reviewed by our Awards experts before it is presented to the Jury.
Please make sure that the Entry Contact is ready to be contacted by our team if we have any need
for clarification about your entry.

To request a withdrawal, please email with your entry number and title. Please check our Dates & Fees page for further information on the withdrawals process.

Shortlists will be announced here on 26 September 2024.
Winners will be announced here on 23 October 2024.

1)What does the nomination fee include?
The fee is only for submitting your nominations.

2) Is there a registration charge to attend the award ceremony?
Yes there is a charge of USD 995 per person to attend the award ceremony.

3) What is the seating arrangement? Should we book a table to attend the award ceremony & the
conference?
Yes, you can book a table for you and your team for both award & conference

Options:
With the maximum number of 8 attendees or With the minimum table fee.

The table booked for the conference will also be included as your reserved table for the awards ceremony, with the minimum 8 attendees or the fee for the table.

If you book a table for the conference, it will include your table for the award ceremony as well with the same minimum of 8 attendees or the fee for the table.
